Update on George

June 5, 2004

George is doing okay after his burn. The doctor let him take the dressing off yesterday. The burns were 1st and 2nd degree on his chest, with some scalding on his face and neck. Rocket Boat Disaster

George got burned pretty bad when the A10-0T motor ignited about 2 inches from his chest. He went to the emergeny room, and has reported to us that he is doing well. Rocket Boat – Launch Scheduled

May 25, 2004

George fixed the remote ignition system, and we are scheduled to launch at the Mill Pond on Thursday, 27 at 11:30am. The first launch will be with a small A10-3T motor, which will be used to trim the boat, motor mount, etc… We will gradually add larger motors, up to F.

George worked on the remote ignition system yesterday, and it actually worked…once. Something, somehow got fried, and we have to come up with another solution.
