1st Water Rocket Flights

Just a quick post of the video. Will add details later. To be safer, I’ll need to get an extension hose before I try again. 1st flight – 60 psi, 185′ (dinged my car). The 2nd and third flights were 80 psi and got to around 230′.

Water Rocket

I finished building my first water rocket. I’ll post more details soon. If the weather holds up I might get to fly it tomorrow. I’m having trouble coming up with a name. The water bottle was labeled “Metro Electro”.

Aerodynamics of Angry Birds

I want to make a Yellow Angry Bird rocket, and not sure the best way to approach it. The shape needs to be a cross between a cone and a three sided pyramid. I think as a starting prototype I should try frankensteining the paper craft design (below) and an Art Applewhite paper cone rocket.
